Student Opportunities

A 10-week summer program for students interested in a career in biomedical research. Gain hands-on experience in our cutting-edge laboratories, receive a mentor, and meet students from all over the country.

A 10-week summer program for nursing students who have completed their junior year if attending a BSN program or completed first year in ADN program. Students will benefit from a mix of classroom, simulation and hands on experience.

Interns will learn nonprofit healthcare accounting practices within a variety of accounting functions such as general ledger, research accounting, cost accounting, accounts payable, and cashier office responsibilities.

Available to students who have completed undergraduate coursework at an American Music Therapy Association (AMTA)-approved school and are cleared to begin internship by their academic director. Two programs are available including medical music therapy and mental health music therapy.

Students interested in a career in psychology can gain hands on experience in our Center for ADHD, Center for Adherence and Self-Management and Neurodevelopmental and Behavioral Psychology (NDBP)

For students with an academic internship requirement, the Cardiopulmonary Exercise Rehabilitation internship program offers training and experience with individual exercise sessions in pediatric and adult cardiac rehabilitation as well as goal setting and home exercise plans. 

For students enrolled in a degreed program such as statistics, biostatistics, epidemiology and quantitative methods and data science. The program seeks to prepare students for a successful career in medical, behavioral and clinical research.
 

Full-time and part-time internships are open to those pursuing a career in the child life field. This internship features experiential learning, and participating students can expect to gain knowledge in core child life competencies. Interns will assess psychosocial needs of patients and families, plan therapeutic play interventions and more.
