Monitor and respond to situations that affect daily operations in the Center for Telehealth. Assist in the development, maintenance and oversight of program policies and procedures. Provide input on planning, evaluating and implementing programs and/or procedures. Plan, direct, schedule and manage resources. Work with multiple departments to create new telehealth programs, best practices and workflows. Help refine operational goals and strategies, support operations, and improve program outcomes.
Provide leadership, and functional guidance for the provider to provider telehealth program (case conferencing). Serve as in internal resource, consultant and liaison to staff, physicians/faculty, and/or the external stakeholders for issues related to the program. Direct the on-going development, implementation, coordination, marketing, and evaluation of provider to provider telehealth program outcomes. Establish policies and ensures the program is compliant with all external regulations and accreditation agencies.
Lead the design, objectives, and implementation of training/educational programs for a healthcare providers working in telehealth. Lead the preparation of related reports and presentations. Provide input on training needs and evaluate training outcomes. Investigate and recommend new training tools/approaches when appropriate.
Manage, direct, and oversee the training, education, of providers and staff working in telehealth. Communicate progress as is appropriate. Identify and prioritize ongoing educational/training needs and recommend solutions as required. Responsible for documentation and compliance. Promote/market educational/training opportunities as needed. Serve as a coach and/or mentor for clinical areas developing telehealth programs.

Effectively communicate with team members and contribute to their growth by sharing knowledge, experience, and skills. Stay abreast of changes in key systems. Serve as a resource to the department in specific area(s).
Excellent verbal, written and/or interpersonal communication skills
Working knowledge of video conferencing tools, proficient in personal computer based software applications (Word, Excel, Access, etc.)
Strong interpersonal skills with varied key stakeholders including physicians and senior leadership
Ability to organize information, define problems, develop resolutions and recommend action plans. Must possess a high level of organizational and workflow efficiency skills and be capable of working well independently.
