PURPOSE OF POSITION: To oversee and lead the development of integrated communications efforts for various departments in the Medical Center.

Responsibilities
·Planning and Execution
Oversees major marketing programs and initiatives; Identifies when to modify plan based on need, anticipates future needs; Oversees annual strategic marketing plan creation and oversight; Leads internal teams to execute all marketing activities, including but not limited to direct marketing, web site content, online marketing, advertising; Develops and implements message strategy for assigned programs; Creates tracking and results measures; Compiles tracking and results measures; Identifies means of tracking and measuring for marketing initiatives; Regularly reports project status and results to clients, team, and directors. Oversees development and tracking of project budgets; Manages marketing research as assigned; Stays abreast of industry trends and best practices and brings those to the team to make improvements; viewed as subject matter expert; Attains competitive knowledge of major programs; Anticipates new work for major programs and initiative and recommends solutions; Contributes to total effectiveness of marketing team and department to increase referrals and enhance reputation of the organization; solving problems proactively, offering creative ideas, and working as a positive, engaged team member.
·Client Relationships
Maintains good client relationships; Client relationship manager for major programs; Manages expectations, identifies potential issues and plans resolution; identifies when appropriate to take issues up the chain of command; Communicates progress of plan and success measures with directors and others; Provides marketing communications counsel to departments and programs throughout organization; Assists senior director in assorted duties and projects; Develops and maintains relationships with internal customers, senior management, other critical partners.

Required:
·Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, English, Public Relations OR Equivalent
·7 years experience, with expert knowledge in their subject matter

Preferred:
·Healthcare experience
·Experience supervising communications professionals
