The Division of Human Genetics atCincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center has an opening for a ResearchAssistant II. The Stottmann laboratoryuses mouse and human genetic approaches to understand the genetic basis ofneural and craniofacial development and congenital malformations. Projectsinvolve characterizing novel genes and mutations identified through forwardgenetic approaches in both mouse and human. We use exome/genome sequencinganalysis as well as a range of molecular embryological tools including genomeediting in animal models andin vitro studies.
TheDivision is a high-energy, dynamic, and interactive environment that isinterested in recruiting self-motivated individuals with the drive to succeedand the desire to be competitive at the international level. Candidates with a strong background inmolecular biology, mouse genetics and developmental biology are encouraged to apply.
