·Compliance - Patient Services Staff
Sustain a working understanding of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards. Support leadership in Compliance efforts to meet and sustain the regulatory compliance efforts of the department and hospital. Be mindful and judicious in monitoring safety and departmental policies and procedures. Ensure all individual certifications and Safety College requirements are fulfilled in a timely basis. Work with department managers, nurse council and magnet representatives to identify and share safety best practices. Be mindful of CCHMCs processes and compliance with CMS standards and freely communicate safety and compliance concerns to leadership team members.
Demonstrates consistent integration of the Interprofessional Practice Model (IPM) in all aspects of practice.
·Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement & Evaluate (ADDIE)
Use the ADDIE instructional design model as the framework for project & education programs to enhance staff performance, support professional growth & development & impact professional practice at the point of care (POC). Collaborate with POC education council, Education Consultant, & other educators to analyze & validate educational needs of individuals/groups within the POC. Employ a formal process to develop data collection & analysis methods to determine the educational needs of individuals/groups at the POC. Conduct formal needs assessment at least annually for the POC. Assume departmental leadership role to plan, design & implement educational initiatives to achieve expected outcomes at the POC. Apply the ADDIE model to planned education to prescribe a variety of strategies, alternatives & resources to accomplish learning goals. Partner with other POC leaders to demonstrate effective resource management at the POC. Synthesize information; provide consultation & feedback, formal & informal, to influence implementation of learning plans. Identify & remove barriers to learning. Institute alternative learning opportunities at the POC. Design & ensure a comprehensive evaluation of the education activity & evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes at the POC level.

Assists at point of care to effectively provide education techniques to enhance learning. Evaluates own practice in relation to professional practice standards, guidelines, statues, rules and regulations. Partners with subject matter experts and education consultants to enhance quality and usefulness of education programs. Demonstrates effective resource management.
