PURPOSE OF POSITION: Manage, coordinate and execute annual safety campaign, Infection Control Preparedness Campaign, student-resident-fellows orientation, annual surveillance projects and other departmental projects as assigned. Manage delegated aspects of larger assigned Employee Health projects. Independently manages larger scale projects.

Responsibilities
·Project Management
Project manage and support programs to include the annual Safety, Health and Integrity campaign, Infection Control Preparedness Campaign, orientation programs, OSHA and regulatory required medical surveillance programs and other departmental projects as assigned. Identify and use appropriate project management tools and concepts (scope management, planning, budget management, risk/issue management, communications management). Develop and execute work plan. Set priorities for tasks based on importance and urgency. Coordinate meetings and events (scheduling, facility logistics). Develops reports and updates, create/maintain electronic and hard copy project files. Utilizes department resources as appropriate for successful completion of projects.
·Project Execution
Create work products and project deliverables, both independently and under direction of team members. Understand and meet expectations for deliverable quality and timeliness. Review the plan and execution for continuous improvement.
·Research and Analysis
Review the list on an annual basis of those that need to complete required surveillance and tb skin tests and sharing results with project team. Research and analyze the appointment data on an annual basis for the annual safety campaigns to create clinics that are utilized efficiently. Research any relevant information on the CDC website in relation to the annual flu and tb campaigns and share with project team.
·Communication
Manage communication and relationships with key project stakeholders including creating weekly meetings and updating agendas to keep all those abreast of the project milestones. Compose, edit, and deliver written and verbal communications both internal to the project team and to our customers. Facilitate small group discussions.
·Quality Improvement
Embrace a spirit of continuous improvement regarding the planning and execution of all projects. Facilitate all lessons learned meetings after each campaign with the project team, providing data and data analysis along with recommendations for recommending areas or approaches for improvement to the project team.
·Technology
Support department infrastructure and systems in the planning, designing, implementation and testing of department based systems and computer applications.
·Training Development & Delivery
Assist with the design and delivery of education and training for CCHMC staff and managers.
·Mentor and Develop
Coach and mentor project team members. Understand and successfully perform the role of Supervisor (as appropriate). Assist administrative-level staff in developing realistic goals and monitor ongoing development (as appropriate). Provide guidance and address administrative level staff performance issues. Objectively evaluate performance and provide timely/ actionable development feedback.

Strong knowledge of PC-based software applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and web-based applications for collecting/ reporting data.

Ability to independently conduct basic secondary research (e.g., literature reviews) and quantitative and qualitative analysis. Ability to provide effective direction to others in execution of project work. Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Responsive to requests/ put. Ability to develop/ learn new skills.

Required:
·Bachelor's Degree AND
·Five years of progressive program related experience

Preferred:
·Three years of experience managing multiple highly complex projects
·Project Management Professional Certification or other relevant certification
·Experience managing, coordinating and executing highly complex projects (based on budget, number of resources, number of sites, technology environment, or stakeholder environment) Knowledge of Employee/Occupational Health operations
