PURPOSE OF POSITION: To provide qualitative and quantitative information that development staff and leadership can use to make data-driven decisions to meet the annual fundraising goal and build the donor relations.
·Development and Analysis
Assist and collaborates with the development leadership and team members to create systems that aid in their efforts to identify, qualify, and move donors through the prospect pipeline, with the aim of increasing their contribution. Provide feedback and suggestions into developing this process. Provide access to important donor information and important tools to help develop relationships, cultivate donors and grow the new constituents. Support best practices and ensure database security. Train the development staff as appropriate.
·Reporting and Data Management
Provide campaign analysis and proposal reports to the leadership. Assess the information needs based on various campaign and events. Collaborate and work with the team to maintain the data warehouse. Design and implement operational reports to track actual progress of fundraising programs toward campaign and fiscal year goals. Analyze and interpret the data to identify issues and recommend appropriate methods to resolve. Assist in development and ongoing maintenance of a fundraising database for creating operational reports. Analyze and display data in various formats. Manage the data relationship between the database and the fundraising software. Responsibilities include designing and running reports and pulling ad-hoc data. Develop and disseminates comprehensive monthly and weekly revenue flash reports to the Development team.
·Process Requirements and Documentation
Thoroughly gather, document, analyze, and help modify business workflows and processes. Update existing documentation as new processes and requirements are discovered, changes are requested or issues are found. Ensure that all documentation is stored and archived in appropriate places. Translate documented workflow and processes into end user documents and training materials.
Develop collaborative professional relationships with client group and key stakeholders. Work with foundation staff to gather report requirements and ensure proper testing/validation.
·Support Annual Survey Responses
Collaborate with the financial analyst on the reconciliation and reporting, particularly with the various annual institutional surveys relevant to fundraising. Provide data and documentation needed for annual audit.

Learn the parts of the working framework, attend vendor training classes, and review vendor documentation that can further develop skills necessary to grow and build the solutions. Actively look for additional training opportunities that can be leveraged to support the system.

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications. Experience with Business Objects including Xcelsius, Crystal Reports and/or Web Intelligence. Solid understanding of the principles of database management and business process workflow. Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Professional 2007 with advanced skills in Word and Excel

·Bachelor's Degree in a related field OR Equivalent combination of education and experience
·5 years related experience
·Experience managing projects and workflow Preferred:
3-4 years' experience and ability to retrieve, analyze, and report on development data using Business Objects, Raiser's Edge and Crystal reports.
Technical experience in consolidating data from multiple sources, SQL server, Business Intelligence tools and data warehouse preferred.
