PURPOSE OF POSITION: To assist in the efficient operation of the Home Medical Equipment department by providing courier service from remote location to Cincinnati Children's patients and families located at the main hospital and Ronald McDonald House.

Responsibilities
·Customer Service
Fill patient supply orders and prepare for delivery. Deliver supplies and equipment to patients and families. Ensure deliveries are made in a timely manner
·Fiscal Responsibilty
Utilize hospital behicle to transport supplies and equipment from off site location to Cincinnati Children's main hospital and to patient's homes. Plan driving routes which are direct and time efficient.
·Teamwork
Represent Cincinnati Children's in a positive manner through providing excellent customer service. Perform all duties in a safe and professional manner and in accordance with established medical center and departmental policies and procedures. Participate in improving organizational performance through recommending areas or approaches for improvement activities and providing input to department discussions.

Required:
·High School Graduate OR Equivalent
·Driver's License
·Familiarity with the Greater Cincinnati area sufficient to plan driving routes
·2 years related experience
·National Safety Council's Defensive Driver Training Course Must attain within 6 months of hire
