PURPOSE OF POSITION: To perform secretarial and support duties for Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.

·Customer Service
Assist in answering, screening and directing incoming telephone calls. Greet and direct visitors to the department.
·Office Duties
Typing, filing, copying, and data entry.
·Ordering Supplies
Stock and maintain office supplies.

Skills & Competencies
·Clerical Abilities
Ability to perform clerical functions with accuracy and attention to detail
·Service Orientation
Demonstrating concern for customer needs and issues; patiently tolerating rudeness and anger and responding with tact and empathy; showing persistent enthusiasm during customer interactions
·Data Entry
Computer literacy sufficient to perform data entry and typing
·Physical Stamina - Light
Physical stamina sufficient to perform frequent bending, light or moderate lifting and extensive standing/walking
Excellent verbal, written and/or interpersonal communication skills

·High School Graduate OR Equivalent

·Experience in healthcare
