Assistant or Associate Professor (Research Non tenure-track). Primary responsibilities are to develop an independently funded program in adherence in diabetes focused on the development of novel behavioral interventions and technology-based adherence data collection for use in clinical practice. The candidate will work closely with Dr. Avani Modi, Director for the Center for Treatment Adherence and Self-Management, as well as faculty within the Division of Endocrinology. The position involves multidisciplinary collaboration with an active and dynamic group of researchers and clinicians across BMCP and Endocrinology.
The candidate must have a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, with specialized training and experience in pediatric diabetes and behavioral interventions to improve adherence. The candidate should have demonstrated the potential to develop an independently funded program of research within pediatric diabetes. At least 2 years of postdoctoral experience in pediatric psychology and knowledge about the conduct of behavioral clinical trials is required.
