As a division also nationally recognized for research, we provide our physicians with a tremendous amount of support and mentorship to ensure professional growth and enable them to effectively treat children in their care. Therefore, we encourage clinicians with a specific research focus or interested in establishing an area of clinical specialty to join our growing team. The division currently employs 17 clinical and research MD and/or PhD faculty, further supported by a large diabetes group of nurse practitioners, nutritionists, social workers and diabetes educators. The division has 10 fellows in training and takes on 3 new fellows per year through an ACGME-approved fellowship program.
