To provide expert technical patient care during the intra-operative phase in both basic and complex surgical cases. Functions primarily in the scrub role or assists the circulator to facilitate the efficient and safe progress of surgical cases. Assists with the maintenance of surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment. Serves as a leader, resource, and role model in the provision of quality patient care during the intra-operative phase.
