PURPOSE OF POSITION: Determines how workplace learning & performance improvement can best be implemented; leads in the planning & delivery of learning & performance improvement strategies that support the organization' strategic direction & that are based on a needs assessment. Incorporates a working knowledge of adult learning theory in the delivery of content to target audiences. Uses appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to increase learners' receptivity to and application of learning content.

Provides training or facilitation services to a designated audience with a designated topic focus.
·Design, Development, and Outcomes Identification
Participates in planning and developing programs using existing learning content as a foundation for development. Utilizes working knowledge of adult learning theory to effectively prioritize training needs and to tailor content and delivery to audience needs. Works with subject matter experts to promote the utilization of best practices in the design and development of learning.
·Collegiality & Collaboration
Serves as a resource for others to access learning resources in the organization. Collaborates with other departments in hospital wide education programs.
·Simulation Center Specific
Facilitates and debriefs simulation sessions specific to the learners and identified needs. Participates in design of simulation sessions. Knowledgeable in operations of multiple human patient simulators, is able to trouble shoot problems as they arise. Ability to lift 50 lbs. and the use of specialized medical equipment.

Strong organizational and project management skills to handle projects independently.

Prioritization and time-management skills sufficient to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

·Bachelor's Degree in a related field
·3 years related experience
·Current license to practice in the state
