Section Chief of Musculoskeletal Imaging

The Department of Radiology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is seeking an ABR or AOBR certified or eligible radiologist preferably with subspecialty fellowship training in musculoskeletal imaging and pediatric imaging experience for the position of Section Chief of Musculoskeletal Imaging. The preferred candidate must have experience and demonstrable ability in clinical musculoskeletal and pediatric imaging, research, and leadership. Strong clinical and interpersonal skills are required to lead this very productive group to deliver the best in imaging care and to lead the section in the development of new techniques and discovery.

The Department of Radiology has 35 active clinical radiologists, 3 clinical physicists, 11 research PhDs, and one the largest fellowship programs in the country. Equipment is state of the art, and includes 10 clinical and 5 research MRIs, 3 clinical CT scanners and one research micro-CT, 14 US machines, and a staffed image post-processing lab. Research time and start-up funding are available within the Department of Radiology and Cincinnati Children's Hospital. Required:
·Doctor of Medicine OR Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine OR equivalent
·Unrestricted licensed physician
·Approval/credentialing from CCHMC Medical Staff Services Division
·Completion of all required pre-employment activities
·Assistant Professor appointment or eligibility
·Prior clinical practice experience may be required based on the needs of the department
