PURPOSE OF POSITION: To provide clinical and administrative leadership and support within a program in the department of Patient Services. To facilitate program development in concert with the Medical Director(s).

Responsibilities
·Compliance - Patient Services Staff
Sustain a working understanding of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards. Support leadership in Compliance efforts to meet and sustain the regulatory compliance efforts of the department and hospital. Be mindful and judicious in monitoring safety and departmental policies and procedures. Ensure all individual certifications and Safety College requirements are fulfilled in a timely basis. Work with department managers, nurse council and magnet representatives to identify and share safety best practices. Be mindful of CCHMCs processes and compliance with CMS standards and freely communicate safety and compliance concerns to leadership team members.
·Clinical Leadership
Work with the Medical Director to establish goals and objectives for the Center, to prioritize key initiatives and to effectively apply the required resources. In conjunction with the Medical Director, manage all inpatient and outpatient clinical operations. Provide clinical leadership to ensure quality patient care outcomes. Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures for the division. Participate in team consultations with specialists, monitoring of care, and educational programs. Serve as the key liaison with hospital administration and the physician leadership to move critical initiatives forward for the Center.
·Collaboration
Manage the institutional relationships required of the Center. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary teams to facilitate care. Facilitate the intake and evaluation process for patient evaluations. Coordinate services with interdisciplinary teams.
·Finance
Work with the VP(s) and Medical Director to develop budgets, business and strategic plans, including financial targets, necessary resources and timelines.
·Marketing
Collaborate with Marketing and Public Relations to develop a coordinated approach for all promotion related to the Center both internally and externally. Contribute to marketing the outreach program including education, patient recruitment, posters and presentations at national conferences
·Research
Assist with and participate in clinical research development.
·Staffing and Selection
Build, coach, develop and retain qualified, competent staff at all levels based on current and projected workload
·Compliance
Monitor and assure the compliance with accrediting and regulatory agencies.
·Improvement Work
Monitor the appropriateness and effectiveness of patient care through an active quality improvement program. Assist in the design and implementation of programs which evaluate the efficacy of treatment.

·Communication - Advanced
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Required:
·Bachelor of Science Nursing or entry level MSN
·5 years related RN experience

Preferred:
·Prior operational and supervisory experience within a complex medical center
