PURPOSE OF POSITION: To provide a point of contact and help manage the day to day operation of the facility, program or department to include but not limited to equipment, administrative, facility, supply chain infection control standards, and special projects.

Responsibilities
·Daily Operations
Provide daily operational support and maintain positive working relationships to ensure effective inter-departmental operations and the optimal guest service experience. Research and resolve operational questions and problems as they arise. Resolve routine problems as they arise and bring non-routine problems to the attention of leadership. Assist with resource identification; perform needs assessment and purchase/rental of patient items. Provide oversight for daily charge capture, reporting and auditing. Plan, direct, implement, coordinate and improve services, technical operations and clinical operations within the department on projects as assigned.
·Materials Management
Manage inventory and ordering including but not limited to garnering quotes for furniture, medical equipment; or new construction items. Manage storage/deployment. Organize inventory and maintain accuracy, which may include purchases, rentals, loss prevention and removal of equipment. Schedule pick-up and delivery of equipment as needed.
·Budget Management
Assist with fiscal responsibilities of the department as requested. Monitor budget expenditures; identify, evaluate, research and/or manage variances/problems. Assist in tracking and monitoring revenue, expense, and allocations. Complete data entry for purchases. Support supervisor in the flow and capture of information as needed. Participates in purchases from both the capital and operating budgets for requested items. Assists units with purchasing as requested.
·Collaboration
Develop, manage and lead relationship building with all Cincinnati Children's departments, outside agencies/vendors with which the department interacts. Develop and participate in collaborative community based activities throughout the organization. Becomes member of multi-disciplinary team to coordinate process and flow. Participate on CCHMC interdepartmental and/or intradepartmental committees as appropriate.
·Facilities
Assist with or manage facilities related projects, monitor timelines for completion and provide direction to staff and vendors. May manage routine purchase and repair maintenance of facility equipment, which may include phones, computers, pagers, printers and medical equipment. Manage, allocate and coordinate space to meet the operational and strategic goals of the division and the needs of the individual program areas. Collaborate with IT and design to ensure proper placement of items in clinical areas. Assist with area commissioning and decommissioning process.
·Project Coordination
Assist in daily coordination of assigned projects including collaborating on project plans, budgets, and resource requirements. Track progress and prepare internal reports. Prepare documents to support project management and reporting. Prepare and distribute project communication to internal and external clients. Identify system and technology needs and act as liaison to ensure appropriate systems and reporting are maintained in support of project requirements. May provide some administrative support such as arranging meetings, developing agendas, preparing meeting materials, taking meeting minutes and preparing progress reports. Generally works closely under direct supervision of a project manager.

Required:
·Bachelor's degree
·3 years related experience OR
·Equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred:
·Master's Degree
·Directly related experience
