PURPOSE OF POSITION: Provide efficient procurement of materials and services for the needs of Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. Support the departmental goals of continuous improvement, cost savings, and delivery of high value added products and services to our internal customers.

Responsibilities
·Customer Service
Communicates with customers regarding PO issues such as price, availability, delivery date, etc. Suggests alternative products and or vendors as applicable. Educates and supports customers, peers, cross functional counterparts, and vendors. Meets established standards in service and quality that insure on time procurement of materials and customer satisfaction. Processes orders within 24 hours and confirms all orders within 24-48 hours of dispatch. Expedites all orders not received within 2 weeks of dispatch. Accessible to customers with a 24 hour or less response time.
·Technology
Utilizes expertise, skills and knowledge of Oracle PeopleSoft System and Purchasing to avoid, reduce or resolve invoicing issues. Continually seeks and shares knowledge to improve work processes and efficiencies. Runs and analyzes required reports. Maintains PO system. Meets department goals/metrics.

Communicates and supports departmental goals and objectives. Participates in module and departmental projects. Follows departmental policies, processes, and procedures. Shares issues and suggestions with Director. Timely follow through. Collaborative teamwork and information sharing to insure the integrity of systems data, standardization, best value, and continual improvement of all people, processes, and technologies.

Required:
·Bachelor's Degree in a related field OR Equivalent combination of education and experience
·2 years related experience including purchase order entry, modification & management in a materials management system like Oracle, SAP or Lawson

·Experience with PeopleSoft
