The Infectious Diseases Division at CincinnatiChildren's Hospital seeks an outstanding investigator working in the area ofsystems biologyof vaccines and childhood infections. We are looking for anindividual with basic science skills and interests in this area who willinteract closely with existing faculty within our vaccine trials unit, part ofthe Vaccine and Treatment Evaluation Unit (VTEU) network of NIH. The idealindividual would have a basic research program focused on fundamental aspectsof immunology, vaccinology, or microbial pathogenesis; but also a specialinterest in translating basic discoveries that will contribute to ourunderstanding of childhood infections and to the development of preventivevaccines. Cincinnati Children's provides an ideal environment for aninvestigator to work across clinical and basic science divisions and develop arobust basic research program that will help improve child health.
